We were approached by a young lady, Shannon about a year and a half ago and told the future of airports is Local and OTG who is involved in other airports around the world was interested in us and several other local businesses! She was experienced kind and professional.
As time and several months past, it was our understanding that there would be three companies bidding to the Orlando International Airport to put in restaurants and shops in the future. There’s A and B and then there is C terminal.
We got a phone call one day that said that our company (OTG which stands for On The Go) won the bid they will be getting B terminal, but they had to wait to see if there was going to be an appeal from the other companies. Which we found out on December 11 that there were no appeals from the other companies so they still win because they get A and C terminals.
Maxines will have the largest restaurant in terminal B, which is very exciting for us. We are involved with style, design our menus & recipes and food quality. We can go to the restaurant anytime we want to make sure it’s up to our standards and represents Maxines. However, we will not be running the restaurant.
We are very grateful to be involved with terminal B as the grease traps and plumbing are already in place!
